A Federal UK

Read it yesterday, and my first thought was no. But on reflection I really warmed to the idea. There's a sort of natural evolution to it. Maybe a bit like a mini-EU.

Sounds OK, Although who would pick up the bill if any of the 'States' are in defect? Would each Country be responsible for revenue and expenditure and be responsible for any local austerity to rectify losses. I cant see anything else being acceptable to England.

Trident would be a big ask for Scotland.
Love the idea of a reduced Westminster and an elected HoL.

Thats one of the reasons it wont work. The SNP would never agree to share anything.

Bailing out Scottish overspending would be a big ask for England ;)
