Hi folks,

Playing St Mellion in September, and could really do with the Kernow course being mapped.

Could as many uPro owners as possible please log in and request that course is mapped for me?

Much appreciated!!

Cheers, Bratty

I can, but thought some folk might just be kind enough to request it on my behalf.

It won't be the end of the world, of course.

Is it really that much of a problem? ;)

Was thinking the same, can you not just buy a strokesaver?

Not wanting an argument as this is off-topic too, but aren't those comments as useful as the ones that take for sale threads off topic that we've been asked to refrain from.

My comment was based on my feeling that it isnt the end of the world. If they sell a stroke saver in the pro shop, you can have a souviner for afterwards too. Chances are they wouldnt have the course mapped either in time.

So the suggestion of buying a strokesaver is going off topic? :D :D

Indeed. Someone asks a question, then is told it's the wrong question. WTF?

While I wasn't anoyed by the first two posts, and it's not so much "off topic", I guess they weren't the responses I was after, which I'm assuming is Region3's point.

I always buy a strokesaver of courses I play as souvenir, but the uPro is useful for measuring certain distances, i.e. from that bunker to the next bunker without having to do any maths (which I struggle with, big time!).

Don't worry Simon. I will be wearing my super dooper trusty Garmin S1 approach wristwatch.
Whilst it will not give you distances from bunker to bunker, it will give you distances to front, middle and back of green. All with alarming accuracy.
And if you want to know what the time is on the way round, it will also tell you that.
Fear not brother.
The Kernow will hold no surprises.
The Nicklaus on the other hand......don't even ask to look at it, you're on your own geezer
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Cheers, Smiffy.

Well when I'm using the uPro in pro-mode on the Nicklaus which is mapped, you can go whistle!!! ;)

Ah...ah, but our Brendy is anti GPS.
If you saw one of the guys in my fourball, he has his out every shot measuring it, even on the teebox of par 5's... sometimes takes his GPS device out too :D

I have no doubt that a gps device in a good players hands would be a help, I have yet to see a good player hold one on the course.
