I've only been playing 18 months and this is going to be my first driver so I guess I should get a 10.5.

there are a lot of people who would 'guess' that 12 degrees would be even better..........

I got fitted by my pro and the 12 ballooned and didn't go very far with either regular or stiff.

Tried 10.5 with regular and was hitting hooks so thought I would wait another 6 months for a driver. He said it could be flex so try stiff and if its too stiff it will go right.

Popper stiff in and boom, 200 carry half the time so will stick to 10.5.

I had a Trackman session at the start of the year ,at first i started with my R11 set at 10.5 average spin was 3502 total distance 231 yards we put the club to 9.5 average spin was 2200 and 247 yards so there is a big difference ,average swing speed was 95.3 mph.

I dunno, to be honest - it's the outcome that is important to me not the whys and wherefores. This combo, with the shaft he put me into works for me. I've never driven the ball so consistently well.

I know exactly what you mean when you say how well you hit your driver now.

I got the full bag fitted and the driver and rescues he fitted me for made a massive change in my game.

I managed huge distance increases and very consistent flight/shape. Broke 90 in a 4BBB club knock out, being 12 over through 14 holes while playing off 28. Won our eclectic Stableford with 67 points.

Raj let us know how you get on with your fitting. You may need to book it through your pro. But you won't regret it.

I happen to be playing at Celtic Manor next week, so the timing worked out quite well. Talking to my pro today and am going to try and get a fitting the same day to avoid a double drive over.

If not my back up is Silvermere where I have read good things about Jason.
