for me, it won't make much difference, unless he goes for loads of newbies. The team pretty much picks itself, but he might go with Morkawa if he is still in form. Other than that, there is a pretty strong team of the usual suspects, most of whom played in the Presidents cup.

They currently have 12 of the top 18 in the world rankings and those 12 are the top 12 in their points, Outside that are Mickelson and Fowler who may both have a chance of getting picks but think theyre just getting themselves some flexibility that they most likely wont need

European side might be a bit more open

Well I think they perhaps needed to make changes as Europe had won four out of the last five, with Darren Clarke's side getting convincingly beaten in 2016. My biggest concern if I was Stricker was how to get a side to gel in the same way as the Europeans seem to do and not fragment and implode if it goes wrong

I hope it won't go ahead without a crowd. Yes they can be annoying, but that makes winning just that bit sweeter.
