50 rounds is that average ?

I've played about 10 rounds this year! New born son means my priorities lie elsewhere at the weekend and I can't play midweek as I work in London and live in Kent so never home in time.

I'm not renewing my membership, by my maths I would need to play 30 rounds a year to justify it and I don't think I will do better off spending my money on casual rounds wherever I fancy. A shame to leave but the membership pricing structure isn't sufficiently flexible for me to make it work.

I've played just over 30 so far this year. 60-70 last year.

Any more rounds and the marital harmony / golf balance gets dangerously out of kilter!

Try to play at least twice a week. Plus club matches, comps etc that goes up to 4 times a week mostly. play darts another 2 days, and Monday night with the lads at the pub. Been with my Mrs 10 years, don't know what she looks like now👍👍

Average for who?

The general golfing population?
Club golfers?

If you took all the rounds played to date and divided it by the number if golfers I bet it would be less than that figure.

It might be average for recently retired fit people with lots of free time, might even bemunder average!

I do get your message, you play a lot of golf!

Does she have a sister between 25-40 - sounds an awesome lady

Took up the game seriously around a year ago and have managed just over 40 rounds in that time. Difficult to fit in more around work and the family.
