4 rounds and hardly a mark.....

Times must be hard Bob if you've had to use the same ball for 4 rounds. I'm guessing you have put the other two on ebay?

Noooooooooo

One is for 2012
The other for 2013 :D

Haha. So the pack of 3 was a bulk buy to see you through the next couple of years. I like it.

I guess thats one advantage of using those old clubs of yours in that they have nothing to grip the ball and chew it up!!

How can you prove its your ball if you have no personal marker on it? :D
I have some no4 Prov1's as well, they could be mine? :D :D :D

Bob's a pro. I assume his ball never actually leaves his sight. Fairway, green, 2 putts. Why does he need to put a mark on it?

:D :D

He's right the new Pro V1's are definately the most durable I've played. I normally get my balls off eBay but this year I decided to use brand new only to see if it made a difference - probably did but only to my mindset.

Anyway a few months ago I started putting a dot on the balls for every round they started to see how long they lasted. I lost a six dotter on the first yesterday, gutted but if somebody finds it they'll never know that it's done 5 and a bit rounds because it's still in great nick!

prov's look yellowish after 9 holes, the soft cover marks even with slight scuffs- sure you werent using a top flite.

That being the case, you should have no problems telling the difference between 2 balls never been hit and one thats had 4 rounds

Well that is impressive and certainly not the prov1's I'm used to and fed up with as they just don't look White after a few holes.
So these are 2011 prov's?
How do you tell the difference?
I feel a dozen coming on and at £32 delivered for something as good as this it's a no-brainer, thanks for sharing.
I wasn't looking for an arguement, I was just saying that the new ProV1s last longer than the older versionse.g Titleist Professional.
I'll keep my opinions to myself in future.
