Despite my previous postings regarding 2fore1 vouchers today I have a complaint


Telephone De Vere Staverton Park on Monday, asking for a 2fore1 tee time for yesterday 1st Nov. Was informed the winter rates start on Nov 1st and the greenfee inc voucher would be £19 per pair.

So I finish my night shift and travel across to Staverton, about 35 minutes, only to be told the green fee was £19 each, I explained the telephone conversation so the guy in the shop rang through to the office to be told he was right and we were wrong. So I turned round and went somewhere else.

Not very happy.

Never had a problem using vouchers at Staverton, that said invariably at quiet times its cheaper via tee times usually. Nice course, just a shame it usually show signs of wear from the amount of traffic it gets
