If say you normally play a hole driver, 7 iron. By adding 20yds to your drive you may be driver, 9 iron.
But, if that info on the other thread helps you hit every club further that may mean you could then play a hole driver followed by wedge.
This would give you more opportunity to hit the green, and get it close.
Or you could then hit a 3 wood off the tee to where you used to hit your driver and follow that up with a 9 iron which you should then hit the green with.
Then, following your putting practice advice, we will be better equipt to hole those short birdie putts.
