Yes, I hate that one as much as when people say back-to-back when they mean nose-to-tail for two consecutive birdies.

Played a comp at BOL earlier this year and a guy a couple of groups behind us aced the 4th.
Later in the round, another guy playing in the group in front aced the 17th while we were watching.
Just after we'd played our approaches into 18, we heard the shouts go up and the same guy who'd aced the 4th had then aced the 17th.

There were some drinks flowing around the bar that afternoon!

I felt sorry for the fella who'd only made one ace that day. Probably thought he was gonna be the centre of attraction. well, he was. For a solid 15 minutes.

We have a plinth on the Hotchkin 12th hole at Woodhall Spa.

Two lads were playing a match. First one holed his shot for an ace. Second guy aced it for a half.

Sorry, I just can't help myself sometimes.
It's the same with a 360º lip-out that comes back at you, it just doesn't.

I usually go for 'holes in oneses' to cover all bases.
