seem to have f'd something up in my upper right arm, can barely lift it and was up all night with pain, nearly had a grown man in tears. Popping pills and good old deep heat atm

thing is it didnt feel to bad until last night. Looks like I will have to rest it for a week or 2, hope its OK b4 the monthly medal on the 3rd!!!

Lets hope this isnt a regular thing, the mind is willing but the body is falling apart :)

Tart.

Arm injuries, pfft. Try falling out of the loft. Mind you, that didn't elicit much sympathy here either. Still got back and neck issues. Am popping pills like a junkie. Still be there for the weekend meets though.

Will also be bringing out the tennis elbow strap. Not worn that for a while, but can feel it coming back.

Beware the injured golfer?

Mainly because he can shank it and take someone's head off.

I get terrible gout because my kidneys don't work properly. The pain is incredible, just had it in my left ankle for 4 days. Couldn't even walk let alone swing a club. Bloomin horrible wanting to go out and play a few holes and not being able!

I've also picked up an injury aswell. Feels like I've pulled a muscle or damaged something on the outside of my left hand. It can be perfectley fine but then If I try picking something up in a certain way it sends sharp pains shooting up my arm. Not going to touch a club till Saturday and hope it sorts itself out.

I'm gonna get in on this, excuses already!

My hand/arm/leg/knee/back* really hurts after I twinged it cleaning the gutters/clearing the loft/doing the gardening/playing Murray in the first round* so I probably won't play well this week...

CK ;)

Well my backs made of glass!! Spazzes out about every 2-3 months just getting over last one all the muscles tighten up in the morning and can hardly move.

My brain hurts but I try not let it affect me much....

seriously though Gibbo - take it easy, see a Doc, pop some pills and play through the pain barrier. I played through bruised ribs last Autumn and every shot hurt like hell but I play GOlf!!

Either that or I'm just ****** stupid!!!!

its your fault Tim, for swinging a driver like Fatima Whitbread on steroids ;)

still bloody sore today, couldnt even get my ladders off the van, oh well, day off tomoz so will see the doc and hope its just a pulled muscle (a skinny git like me its probs more like pulled sinew ;) )

Now man up the rest of you, only I am aloud to feel pain ;)

Always best to see a doctor. Apart from anything else they can usually prescribe industrial strength painkillers. Maybe think about getting a physio session too (if the budget allows) depending on what the quack says
