On the Treasury view, the gap between spending and revenues in Scotland for 2009-10 was £3,150 per head. North Sea Oil revenues are not counted as a Scottish contributions and they never will, the territories for NS Oil were defined as a separate region under law back i the 1970's.
 
Yes but we have kept the west coast oilfields our biggest secret until after independence.

West Coast oil fields.....that's the cat out of the bag, we'll get them easy like last time all we do is send out the whisper that the Mc Dougals called the Mcgregors *ankers. We then stand back watch the kilts fly and mop up the pieces. Simples.
