FREEDOM, Chains and Slavery or a Busted Flush?

Clever positioning of the date midway between the Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup.

Busted Flush I think.
No automatic entry into Europe was the big let down for The Nats.
SNP not making any headway, if anything falling backwards.

is this the date when all the billions of our taxes in the south starts getting spent were it belongs in the south or have i got it wrong (won't be the first time)

I think the QI Nobody Knows clanger sounds loudly on that one 6 inch.

Scotland raises greater tax revenues per head than England.
The SNP say it spends less per head than England but I am not so sure about that.
Financially we are rich enough to go it alone if we chose to.

The vote is a few weeks before the planned UK elections in 2014 so it should be a lively time.

the upside would be all the mp's from north of the border wouldn't be able to sit in westminster, thus reducing the cost to the tax payer and taking away some of the labour voters,we should have a vote in ENGLAND as well to determine if north of the border counts the same as the other new entries into europe as regards jobs, could be onto a winner how many ENGLISH brikkies would it take of the dole to build a new wall and check points and the extra jobs for customs and excise to stop the haggis smuggling, sounds like a winner were do i vote.

I thought all the brickies in England were from Eastern Europe nowadays, or is that another urban myth.

The weird thing is that if Scotland is not accepted into Europe and the Nats win the vote we may well be forced to build a border.
Still our 11% stake in the Scottish founded Bank of England would pay for it.

It all appears to be turning into a mucking fuddle.

A Scottish brickie was building a wall of our new village primary school when I walked past. He had his back to me and swore about something. His three mates, who could see me, all immediately put their fingers to their lips and went SHHHHHH.
He turned round and genuinely said 'I'm terribly sorry sir, I did not see you there, please accept my apologies'.

Changed days!!

lolz Mr Farange.

Im in the no camp, and firmly in the no camp.

I've yet to hear what the ego known as Alex Salmond tell me whats in it for me, what can he make better for me because right now all I can see is hassle.

Not for me, British by Birth and Scottish by the Grace of God and very happy to remain British.

There is a flip side, there is a lot of Labour mp's up here so take that vote out of the equation and you could be stuck with the Tories for a long long time.

Youkip is making inroads into the Tory vote in England.
Next English election without the Scots vote would be a four way split between UKip, Cons, Libs and Labour.
Should produce some unholy alliances.

i hope we are ( being a tory ) we had 13 years of the scottish labour party destroying this country so it will take a few more years to right the ship we should have a vote in ENGLAND we could then get rid of most of the WELSH as well cant understand half of the news because of the accent.

Funnily enough, I can't understand half of the Scottish news because of English accents!

Do you not remember Maggie.

If you are going say someone destoyed the country look no further than her.

We now have no manufacturing industry all the counties assets, were sold of at a fraction of there worth to denises mates on the stock market, hey at least you got to buy your council house though.;)

Wonder if the ballot paper will be written in 'text speak' so that the 16 year olds can understand it ;) Letting them vote is a scary proposition as far as I'm concerned.

And.. if King Alex gets his way, then as private Fraser used to say " We're doomed, we're all doomed "

Did anyone see the SNP political broadcast tonight? From what I make the biggest seller is no tuition fees then the chance to be called Scottish without a central Government in Westminister.

The guy is a loonball
