10 Why?

Surely in medal play you have no choice but to keep going. If I have a horror and thankfully 9 is my worse score this year it is usually as a result of a lost ball off the tee. Tends to be finished with an obligatory 3 putt too

With me it's usually because I refuse to take my medicine. I always think I can hit it through gaps in trees that a squirrel would struggle to squeeze through. This year I concentrated more on course management and reduced the number of horror holes as a result.

i had a few 8's this year but i think i had a 9 at the 17th at callander.....reason was the thick rough to the left of the green.i couldn't get out of it.

i always play on for the reason that it gets reduced down for handicap purposes anyway so the chance to get cut is still there.

its just another number by the time you get near 10 i find i have lost all concentration and am just hacking away without any thought for what i am doing!

Same for me. Or I am wild off the tee then start swinging to hard to make up for lost shots. Although the other week I took 5 off the tee ha

9 is pretty good for this year seeming as Kevin Na gscored 16 a few months back !

I had a 10 in our scratch qualifier this year. Par 5 OOB all down the right off the tee so I stuck the first in the cabbage left. Reload OK. Next Cabbage left. next ok. 7 to the lawn and three putts for good measure. The other 17 were prettygood so qualified and departed the comp in the semis.

But 10s allways end in a three stab for me!

I am pretty sure even if you pick up on a hole you can still get a cut but not win. Well at least that was how it sounded to me.

I had 2 in a row recently in a strokes comp. Hit 2 balls OB, then had a slight head gasket boiling for the rest of the hole, and a 3 putt.
Onto the next hole 2 good shots, all ok, then hit a poor one into the bunker, head gasket hitting the red, then bunker lip, bunker lip, bunker lip, yipee out, then a 3 putt.
I really need to work on the best source of medicine, as card wreckers are not acceptable and not necessary.
2 bad shots and a hot temper, lead to me getting near and hitting them numbers,.
