I have to agree with you. When starting off a driver can play havoc with your game. A three wood would do just fine.

I think its great advice. My pro would tell you the same. I use an 11.0 degree driver because i have trouble getting the ball up. I have a 3 wood which I always used off the tee before getting a driver but now i might whip it out only once or twice in a round. Using a spalding rescue wood(4)...

There is a local 12 hole links course a few miles outside of town where members can get a half price discount voucher for when our course is closed.

Going on holidays and have 100euro(£78) to spen on a wedge. Looking for recomendations. Have my eye on a Mac Gregor MT PRO DW Wedge. Is anyone using / used this wedge if so love to know.

Thats not the point. The point is to find out which is prefered. It may be easier to play on a parkland course thus making it easier to enjoy.
