Closest I have ever got to playing The Old Course was to watch guys teeing off on the 1st and playing the 18th last month, looks amazing.

My top 6 would be... 1. Disney Palm, Orlando Florida. 2. Mongomerie Course, Carton House, Co. Kildare. 3. Galgorm Castle, Co. Antrim. 4. Erskine GC, Renfrewshire. 5. O'Meara Course, Carton House, Co. Kildare. 6. Moyola Park GC, Co. Londonderry. All great courses.

2 of us played the O'Meara course at Carton House in just under 3 hours at the end of September.

I finished 134th this year, an improvement on 180th last year. Made a big mistake by missing making the transfers for the Scottish Open this year.

Similar thing happened to my mate, it was a ball of glue inside the shaft.

I was at Gleneagles a few weeks ago and the general opinion there is that it could be a nightmare for spectators. Apparently the season passes for Dubai are free of charge.
