Re the OP. Only played Guildford & puttenham. Guildford would be my choice. I’ve enjoyed playing there 4 times recently both summer & winter. It’s a good walk. If I lived up there I’d look at there rather than pay an eye watering joining fee

As Gordon says, definitely a negative correlation between the loudness of the trousers & golfing ability. Also, if I may go further, a positive correlation between the loudness of the trouser and the vacuum of the personality. Just saying, I know some of you fellas do wacky!! ??

No issue with white trousers. I wouldn’t go for them, despite being a playa & a knob?? too hard to keep clean. I have a massive issue however with loud mouth and other type trousers. They speak volumes!!! white belts!!! Also
