We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!
GoKarts break no more or less than other models (All though I'd hazard a guess at less)
The reason you see so many 'customer service' threads is that it's fantastic. When you send your other brand back, it takes a few weeks, and eventually you get it back a bit later...it's your bog standard...
Precisely the reason I get insurance. Not for the loss of my own clubs, but purely for the 'I hit someone they're going to sue'
Just one lawsuit regardless of the out come will cost a few grand, money which I don't have.
I estimate for the chance my clubs get stolen, I'm 100 times more likely to...
No, No, No...please stop with the Galvin Green drivel.
They are very good waterproofs, but they are not 'get what you pay for'
They are 'get what you vastly overpay for so you look flash for your mates'
Other brands such as Sunderland/Proquip are just as effective.
Just looked at onlinegolf...
Z-Star all the way, far better than the Pro-V1 in my opinion.
And despite what a couple of people say I don't think they cut up that quick either.
And weirdly if you use the Z-Star yellow, it cuts up even less (I've started to see a lot of these being played even through the summer)
Garmin G1 watch.
Can't recommend it enough, admittedly all it does is provide the front/middle/back, but it's ridiculously quick to use..just stare at your wrist, comes loaded with 5000 courses with no subscriptions and quarterly updates for free.
I've got the burner 09's. I tried the 2.0 multiple times, just couldn't notice any difference whatsoever (Except the smoke finish is a little darker on the 2.0's)
Save cash, get the 09's they are v. easy to hit and long as well.
Watch out for the huge gap between the pitching and sandwedge...
None of my playing partners seem to know whether what I'm doing is legal or not.
I've setting up a little open in my putting, and pushing my ball to the right.
So for the last few weeks I've been standing behind the ball and putting my putter down toe pointing down the line.
I then maneuver my...
I like a brolly just to reduce that 'drowned rat' feeling of being constantly in the rain. it's just infuriating to me that, manufacturers deliberately make them so that the struts are not replaceable.
I mean it's not hard you could package 3 or 4 extra struts with the brolly that can be...
Well after the last couple of weeks of wind and rain, my brand new 30 quid umbrella got blown inside out and one of the little prongs broke.
Now this is the third umbrella in 6 months, totaling 90 quid in all.
I'm seriously getting p*ssed off.
For the sake of 2 pence worth of plastic, I have to...
How was it by the way?
I've been to the NEC golf show and was incredibly disappointed. I was hoping that Golf Live was trying something new and would have support from the manufacturers?
