Thanks guys for the responses. Good to know it's do-able at least. The ones i see on eBay are from China etc. Are they legit? I can see some on Gamola for €25-ish, but i'd be more inclined to trust Gamola than eBay. Not overly fussed whether the shaft is kept in tact or not when it's pulled.

I'm looking to change the shaft in my R11 hybrid. The shaft i've bought to put in it does not have an adaptor/sleeve on the end of it. Question is, is it possible/difficult to get the old shaft (the one currently in the hybrid) out of the sleeve and to put said sleeve on the new shaft? Or will i...

Hi, can anyone out there recommend a good club fitter in the Central/South Scotland area? Would even travel to the north of England if anyone has any strong recommendations.

It's more curiosity that anything else. My hands are too active in my putting stroke, so maybe the long putter would help.

Quite fancy trying the belly putter out, but don't really want to shell out a lot on something i might not get on with. So would a good option be to buy a long shaft on ebay and put it in an old putter i have lying around? Easy enough to have done?

The Silloth website says £50 for a round. Is that the going rate or any tee times websites good for getting it a bit cheaper? Would probably be happy to pay £50 though we'll be looking to play it on a Monday or Tues. Slaley Hall can be had for about £30 on a Monday or Tuesday.

I'm looking to buy one of these. There are a few kicking around on eBay, but you're talking 55-60 quid minimum. Anyone know an actual shop that sells them? Or can they be ordered direct from Titleist?

But how did they actually turn pro? Do you just one day say 'i'm turning pro'?
