    Buying A House...

...we've had an offer accepted for a property, whats the correct chain to go now? We need to complete mortgage paperwork, which will get done later this week. Should I go for solicitors fee's before or after that? Also, anyone know at what stage I have to pay stamp duty? Thanks.

    Baroness Thatcher Dead

I live in the South Wales valleys. And her handywork is still clear to see to this day. I 100% disagree with toasting any death, but she wont be missed in these parts. RIP

Leaving battery in boot of car?

Boots can become a very hot place in the summer. This could deteriate the cells. I'd avoid it to be honest.

    Buying A House

Top reply Richart. Thanks for that! Totally forgot to think about the flood issue. I'm fairly certain it isnt in a flood risk area, but will investigate further. I was thinking about entering the attic. I assume im ok to do this on a viewing? Also, is there a way to find out about asbestos...

    Buying A House

Thanks both. My parents have been up there and spotted a crack on the outer render. Re-rendering was something i'd pencilled in as part of the project, but I didnt see this crack. So will investigate that. When I say old, I think the house is about 40 years old and I dont think the interior...

£4.40 for a peroni by me. Scandalous.... I love a 'Ruddlers Best' from 'spoons. Always consistant and very cheap pint.

    Buying A House

Im a first time buyer looking at a house. I've got my deposit ready and have viewed a house that I like. 1. When veiwing, I noticed alot of ceiling cracks. Nothing major (have pictures if anyone is that deeply interested). At a guess, i'd say the platering/artexing is at least 30 years old. Is...

    Arnold Palmer Inv..

...anyone catch the player (may have been K.Bradley) who pitched off the green??? Basically it looked as if the green snaked around the water, very large green, so he wedged over the water/rough area whilst on 'the dancefloor'. Is this even legal? Sorry if already covered..

    Footie

Wales well deserved the win last night. Hope Scotland turn over Serbia in the week now so we can aim to cement 3rd place for World Cup pot positions! Being half Scottish, watching them is worrying! - Adam is a disgrace to football and is perfectly at home at Stoke. Always a yard off the pace...

    Beginner starting out

My advice would be to go and have a couple of lessons from the start to get your grip/stance etc correct from the off. Then just playplayplay!

    Other courses near Celtic manor

Greenmeadow is a stones throw from it and a real nice set up! My suggestion would be 'The Rolls Of Monmouth' though. It'll be about 10/20 min drive, but worth it. Google it. Second to that, St.Pierre. Aberdare is hell of a treck from there and you'll drive past a lot of superior courses (in...
