Started this a couple weeks ago, had Molinari in my team on my first week and he won the tournament and has Wiesberger this week and he won. Haha I am liking this.
.....Anticipates all 6 players missing the cut this week
This sounds really good, shame it's so far away! Will definitely keep this in mind for next year. Very rare you get to watch top sports people for free
Any groups in particular you would recommend, I will be looking for a new set of irons later this year and a new putter very soon, so would be good to find a bargain.
I got thinking today, I wonder what people would rank as the best course they have played for the best price? Some courses are very expensive and not all that and often some cheaper ones pleasantly surprise you.
Thought it would be good to get everyone's thoughts and maybe throw some...
If he missed the cut in his next tournament surely he would still get some invites to tournaments for this year. Would it then be a case of entering Q-School for next season?
Thanks again everyone for the pointers. Just to cover a few things that have been said:
I don't really know any golfers in the area and the ones I do know are casual players that have never had lessons, so don't have anyone who can recommend a pro.
Re the grips: £50 isn't too bad, I guess I...
Got down to the driving range tonight, hit 60 balls, some good and some bad. Then spent some time on the putting green at putts between 1ft and 8ft.
Noticed that the grips on my clubs probably need replacing.
The driving range pro said £25 for a 30min lesson or £40 for an hour, is that...
Thanks for that, really good advice. A few years ago I got into the habit of spending at least 45 minutes on the chipping and putting green two or three times a week but fell out of the routine after a house move. If I can get back into that then it should help. Have a club I am planning to join...
Appreciate everyone's advice! I will absolutely look to get a lesson booked in with a pro to try and get rid of any bad habits early doors. I should be able to play a good few times a week too which will help.
With regards to it being a pointless post. I understand that no one can tell me what...
I would say Luke Donald. Had top 10 finishes at all four majors and was even ranked number 1 a few years ago. His game has obviously gone south somewhat lately but when you look at how good he was when he was on top form, I would say he should have won a major.
Hello everyone, signed up to the forum today and would like a bit of advice if possible.
I have been planning to get back into golf this year but wanted to set myself a challenge/goal/aim. With that in mind, I want to get myself down to a single digit handicap within say 2/3 years. Is this...
