Had an awesome weekends golf. Shot 87 off the yellows around Hanbury Manor but the fireworks occurred on Saturday when I broke 80 for the first time ever with a 79 at my home course - what made it more special was that it was with a medal card in my hand and I started with a triple bogey too and...

It reads as follows on their notification: "England Golf have now confirmed that as Area Authority for Essex we are able to extend the current period within which the use of preferred lies is allowed. An extension of the normal preferred lies period through to 28th May 2023 is now available...

Essex Golf Union have been given permission and extended to 28th May. Clubs can decide between this period whether they remove prefer lies or not.

So Mrs sold her Diesel X5 on Saturday and will be moving to an electric company car from tomorrow. She'll get a Tesla 3 initially until her Merc EQB turns up whenever it is ready. I will upgrade from a 3 series touring to a diesel X3 so if we need to do longer journeys we don't have to worry...
