We had heard this may be the case, we'll plan it better next year so I'll be sure to ask around more. In your opinion where is the best course set up for a golf break? Ideally with a hotel on site a couple of courses and not too crazy with the prices!
Off at 06.00 tomorrow for our yearly golf break to Wensum Valley for 4 days with my 8 golfing buddies. Heard mixed reviews about the setup at Wensum, but I don't care, I'm like a kid at Christmas. Oh and I'm playing the final of my Summer Knockout on Sunday! What a golf weekend!!!
I agree that Allis is the best but now past it, at this year's Masters he did frustrate me hugely with his seemingly constant moaning. Must have been a bad week!
I'm definately realising that spending my time on the putting green is the way to save shots.
The downside of my course is a lack of short game practice facilities. A bucket in the garden is the best I can do.
Thanks for your advice
I'm currently going through a lot of posts now.
How did I not join this forum sooner? Looks like an amazing place for everything golf, and more.
I may have to take you up on that offer, any excuse for a round
