I am interested in discovering the value and experience of others who may have undertaken the putter fitting at St Ives? Thank you in anticipation of your responses.

    Electric Trolleys

I have a two year old Motorcaddy S1 Digital trolley and 18 hole battery/charger for sale as I recently won a new model at Xmas in the Clubs pro raffle (live in Herts). Would recommend them. Saw one on ebay go for £200 would accept £150 ono (can send photos). Don't know if that helps .....

    Ping g25

I used a 10.5 and 12 degree regular demo on course from my pro and found the shafts a little stiff. However a friend found me one on ebay for £213 with a soft regular shaft, 12 degree and it is awesome - clearly driving further and straighter than my K15 which I thought was great. Depends on...

Verulam - a club and course of interesting contrasts

I had the opportunity to play Verulam in a Seniors fixture and it left a most pleasing impression. There are some interesting contrasts. Firstly there is the tradition of a mature James Braid designed course, original clubhouse and the history of Samuel Ryder and the Ryder Cup compared with the...

    Letchworth GC

Welwyn Garden is my home course and we have arrangements with Mid & East Herts, Brickendon, Brookmans Park, Old Fold Manor, Verulem, Harpenden, Bedford County amongst others. I am lucky to play Seniors matches so other local venues also on the itinery. Brookman's Park and Hadley Wood for example...

Opportunity to play this course on a 'reciprocal' and so pleased we did. We were greeted by an attractive walled entrance; friendly lady members in the car cark and a warm, smiley welcome from the assistant pro. Letchworth have a tee system where 1/2 balls go off the first while 3/4 balls go off...

Monthly poll 2: What is your favourite worldwide golfing location?

Some really excellent courses in Canada especially in PEI but I have played Deerhurst and St Andrews in Ontario which are really challenging and scenic but accesible as well as welcoming!

Links to British Golfers studying in the US

Help - my son is writing an article for his University Journalism course and has been 'let down' in trying to interview a young British golfer in the US seeking to make his way through the College route rather than remain in the UK. Does any reader happen to know of someone he might be able to...

Hunstanton Golf Links - Summer Offer

Always wanted to play a genuine links course and for us inland golfers, it's only a couple of hours away (although the 'road links' really stink). For £99 the offer is for 2 rounds of golf per person and a two course lunch. On arrival made to feel welcome in the very traditional clubhouse; and...
