    Gol balls in winter

Re: Golf balls in winter Use the Bridgestone 330s in summer and just changed to the Bridgestone FIX to try and minimise lost distance due to the cold weather and extra layers of clothing. Only downside is sometimes losing control of the distance I hit the short irons.

    Dilemma

825 Pros are def worth a try. Just changed to them from MP68s and have not lost any feel or control, even in the short irons.

Farleigh Court Golf Club BANNED me from their driving range today!!

Do the teaching pros there pay a rent or percentage to the range? I can't imaging a teaching pro having an issue with a couple amateurs helping each other while practicing together, but planned coaching may be an issue. If I was the Head Pro there, I would be concerned. I'd want to know what...

    Should I get PGA qualified?

If you're looking for a qualification for teaching only, maybe the PGA route is not for you. You need to be sure what you want to do, how many lessons, what you need to earn, etc A lot of venues charge either a percentage of income or a rent for you to teach there. Are you prepared to...

County Golf Champs = miserable day...

Not good having to endure their attitude when it should be an enjoyable day. In my experience, genuinely good players have always been friendly and good company on the golf course. Fair enough putting everything into your game and trying to score as low as possible, but they should have manners...

    Right knee flex- backswing

Not sure how relevant this is, but... I'm more concerned with the stability of the right leg (for a right handed golfer) in the backswing as seen from the 'face on' angle, than the amount of knee flex.

    Golf Psychology

Good luck with your business venture. I would recommend linking up with some local coaches, either having them refer clients to you and/or offering joint coaching packages that involve both yourself and another coach.

    AimPoint, anybody done it ?

If you can justify the cost then I would highly recommend it. I had serious doubts about the value of the course when I drove to the venue but found it invaluable, especially for my coaching. Will use a simplified method while coaching on the course without using the chart or Swinkey, mainly...

    Leaderboard Training Aid

Had one for years, great for improving your stability and there are some excellent sequencing drills you can use it for. Although, not sure if you can still buy them.

    Best swings on the tour?

From the players I've watched in person I like the swings of: Tiger Woods Paul Lawrie Rickie Fowler Each of these players can control the trajectory and shape of their shots very well, I always rate how well a swing works over how a swing looks.

So did you vote for a NEUTRAL grip????????

Normally I wouldn't comment, but.............. The first thing I teach people is how to hold the club. Briefly, it starts with how the ball and club are meant to interact, then talk about shaft lean that allows the correct contact and how the grip affects this. Then, how the hands go on the...
