Gullane 3 will suit you, should get a fairly cheap price and will be in good condition also, the course is quite friendly so won’t be too taxing either

As for the balls then people want to play the same courses, clubs, balls and clothes as the pros and not many sports allow that

Using it for calls, texts or social media then no I agree but a blanket ban is stupidity
Bought a Stewart waterproof bag and it's been fantastic, plenty pockets and space and no issues with quality or anything breaking
