Yes no likes deep rough unfortunally at our club is in a SSSI area, we can only cut it at the begin of the season and once more,

Played a winter league game with my partner 3/4 handicap he played of 5 (6) and me off 10 (13) did not drop a shot and scored 47pts, we did not have a 4pt on the the card my partner had 3 bridies without a shot and i had nett bridies. My personal score was approx 39 points,

December medal yesterday shot a gross 83 nett 70 1 under par, could have been better messed up the 10th hit a drive that left me with 125 yds to the green and took another 6 shots, bounced back with a bridie on the next hole.

Are club have no option it can be cut at the end of August due to it being a SSSI area, they have cut it back as far as they can. The only good thing is when it is cut can find some nice new expensive balls :) :)

Like most in need of rain, greenstaffhave been hand watering as well as sprinklers, trouble is the wind dries them out just as quick
