Mine: 'No women in the Spike Bar after 6pm'. It was a club in Yorkshire (I cannot remember the name) in the early 90s.

The money would go to the club not the member as far as I understand. Its not just about reclaiming VAT going back to 1973, this could result in VAT dropping to 5% for golfers

that is potentially massive news - it will change golf in this country if they win the case

I think this could kill off proprietary clubs!

Nearly missed this from earlier today. The first ever survey into what golf club members think of the business impact of dress codes is has been carried out. Nearly half think relaxing a dress code would be good for a golf club's bar / restaurant, just 11% think it would be bad...
