Oh yeah - been there and done that in my slightly younger year.
MY06 Impreza STI - 365bhp - Initially had PPP installed but was removed when I had the Cat out and exhaust done. Straight through exhaust, remap with launch control - an absolute beast of a car.
Sadly the head gasket went after 7...
Assuming cost is reasonable I am game for this one. Hopefully deals done in advance will see prices around the £150 mark for two rounds of golf and overnight accommodation.
I have two members from another forum coming to join me at my local club - Three Rivers (Nr South Woodham Ferrers) on Saturday 2nd November, you are more then welcome to come down and join us for a 4 ball.
We are meeting at 8am for a tee time somewhere between 8.40 and 9am. Round will cost you...
Had a set of 4 2200mah batteries and an Energizer charger with my Garmin G3 which did the trick. When fully charged a set would last a good 2-3 rounds and I had the other 2 in my golf bag so never ran out of juice.
Just sold the Garmin and batteries/charger actually. Had to change my GPS...
Fantastic day all round no question about it. Course was great and in excellent condition and my playing partners certainly took good advantage of that - me not so much. None the less a great day had by one and all I think.
Thanks very much to everyone who had a hand in organising the event...

27 hole Yuasa batteries can be had on eBay for 50-60 including cables and a battery bag - well worth checking out.
Only other thing to...
I am really keen to get out in our Saturday school tomorrow for a round of golf. It's been a long hard week, and last night was the first time this week I've managed to hit some balls at the range.
Really hoping tomorrow is not a case of waited all week for it and then play crap.

Played it about 3 months ago.
We went on a Golfbreaks package and paid £120 for two rounds, dinner, bed and breakfast. We were due to play the Derby and the PGA National, but we turned up on the day and asked very nicely (actually we thrust £300 in front of them) and asked to be upgraded...
Spent a good two or three hours on GTA5 last night and I am loving it. Very immersive and pretty spectacular to watch/play in general.
Just wondering if anyone else has made their way to the golf course yet? Played my first round last night - £100 for 9 holes seems steep but course was in...
