Went out today @ Moor Park GC, played the High Course. I had 9 shots, 17 to his 8 handicap. Got to 17th and lost 2 down. I went 3 up after 3, but couldn't keep it going. Lost on 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11, to go 2 down. Playing partner was hitting some great shots into the greens, hit 9 GIRs in 1st 13...

I've entered the Nike as a single, looking forward to the draw on Wednesday.

I'm looking forward to it, should be fun. Just doing the individual event.

Got my 1st handicap this week (17), now looking forward to playing in competitions. I've also entered the Nike Match Play, anyone on here entered it before and what's it like?

I personally would let them through if we have lost ground on the group in front.

If there was groups in front of them I wouldn't have thought about it, but because there was no one in front, I thought it strange not to let me play through. You learn something new everyday. I know if I was holding someone up in my group I would let them through, match or not.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I wasn't in a rush so wasn't pressing to go through. Just though it strange she would walk back 120yds to tell they were in a match, they could have stepped to 1 side and I would have hit it on and gone through.

Went up the course for a quick 9 holes. Ladies match against another club went out an hour earlier. Managed to catch them up by the 6th hole. Waited on the 6th tee then when I finished waited on the 7th, when one of the ladies walked back 120yds to tell me they were in a match and sorry they...

Had 1 4 putt and 4 3 putts today at Caversham Heath, greens were really quick.

Brought a box of 40 hand warmers at Costco yesterday for £11 (ish)
