Good morning fellow golferino's,
Played my first 'winter' round on Sunday morning. Teed off at 7.24am in what could only be described as Arctic conditions.
Frozen tees, frozen fairways, frozen greens.
After the first 9 all was just a wet frost but it got me thinking about which golf ball is...
I set myself a target handicap this year but it's looking increasingly likely not to happen! To be honest, I think it just plays on the mind too much.
Go out there and play your own game. You'll know at the end of every round which aspects you need to work on, whether it's wayward tee shots...
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Rather than think about the 100+'s concentrate on the brilliant 78.
You know you can hit that low so all these high scores are just a blip on an otherwise great golfing career so far.
Take a lil break. Spend some time with the family and before long you'll...
I had a go with a hybrid the other day at the range and absolutey loved it! It was the equivalent of a 4-iron, which was ideal for me because my long irons tend to let me down over the course of 18 holes.
What I particularly liked about it was that because I could hit it quite high, there was...
I don't mind playing in rain (we do live in England after all) but I will bloody well moan about it from the first tee to the 18th green.
I remember playing in heavy rain once and the club slipped out my hand and went about 50 yards into the trees. Oops.
Got to be early morning, no question.
The earlier the better. Finish just in time for lunch with a nice cold crisp beer overlooking the 18th
Perfection. :D
Get a divorce.
Not really. Just take a load of her belongings - clothes, jewellery etc, pawn them and go buy your driver back.
Keep the new one though and give it to her for Christmas.
You should have swung yr driver between his bo***cks to shut him up.
Not everyone can afford to stay behind spending every last penny behind the bar. It's the choice of the individual and no-one else.
If you don't mind the odd craptastic looking ball there's an, ahem, eBay listing here you may like?
Apart from that try finding one of those little sh!ts that scoop up balls from courses and try to flog them back to you. :D
As a Mizuno player, I'd actually opt for the Callaways in this instance. But it comes down to whatever you feel comfortable with.
Or like someone else said, have a mixed setup so you get the best of both worlds. Callaways for the long game, Mizunos for the short game.
