Can anyone tell me what this actually is please?

There are 3 holes where the fairway is severely sloped from left to right. Very tough and a great example of how Donald Steel utilised the natural lay of the land to produce fantastic holes.

Recently played this course for the first time since I took up golf as an adult, the last time I played it was as a kid. Left the course feeling very sad. The greens are truly dreadful. The course is clearly suffering from chronic underinvestment. Such a shame as it’s a Donald Steel...

Anyone ever tried this with any success? I’ve just been reading Butch Harmon saying it’s by far the most effective way to make a swing change and Tiger Woods used to do it all the time. I have to say, my slow motion swing makes me look like Ernie Els. My full swing not so much!

Hi, Does anyone know a golf coach around the Merseyside area that uses a launch monitor that measures strike? Such as GC2 Quad etc? Thanks in advance.

You're not wrong there! I was 3 under on the 14th tee and i think the nerves got the better of me, i missed the 18th green, chipped on and had about 10 foot left with a foot of break. I was so nervous i could barely take the putter back. When the ball dropped, like you said, what a feeling!

I can't quite believe it, I've just shot a round of 69. 1 under gross. This was at Gathurst golf club in Wigan. My best ever round previous to this was 4 over. I literally can't believe it, a round under par! 🤗
