I sometimes use a random number generator on my phone to choose numbers between 90 and 210 and then obviously choose a clubs to hit those carry numbers. If I’m within 10 yards it’s a tick otherwise it’s a cross. It’s probably a better test of ball striking.

I’m not practicing I’m testing myself to get the highest % with a basket of balls. Using the 7 iron solely means I’m getting the best accurate feedback. I’m using the practice facility on the trackman for my benefit. Not just aimlessly bashing balls out.

I had squairz golf shoes and they didn’t stay waterproof for long. And started falling to bits. Got a warranty replacement pair and they didn’t last either. Super comfy though. I’m now back to Adidas’s Tour 360,s in wide fitment. 6 months of abuse and love them.

I bought Mac wets a while back. The grip is better when wet. I find them nice and warm in cold dry conditions. One round was rain all the way and the grip was great but I did get cold fingers by the end.

Strange round today. Thinned so many shots today yet still ended up 5 over gross. Had to hit a lot of 3wood shots off the fairways which was really good. Putted better than usual which always helps.

I love that my Titleist driver always leaves a ball mark so I can check where I’m striking the ball. Amazingly when putting the head cover on it seems to clear the face.

I’ve got a Galvin Green jacket which is super comfy to swing in. A few years old so probably discontinued but still looks like new. I quite often wear a warm hoody with a body warmer combined with Druids thermal trousers which are super comfy too. Macwet gloves if it’s really cold.

I’ve known a couple of guys that have had warranty claims on their Stealth drivers. Personally I’d avoid carbon face drivers. It’s a lot of money to invest and it’s not like they perform better.

There’s so many great looking forgiving irons these days. Back in the day they were ugly with loads of offset and huge soles.

I get that. I already hit a 6 when playing partners go with a 9. More often than not I’m on the green and they are well short. I just wonder if Titleist had thought of changing the number on the 250 star clubs so the lofts match their other sets more closely for blending ect?
