Thanks for the tips guys, I'll give them a try.
this is true for me. I guess just need to make sure I go through this routine every shot and I'll soon get over that feeling of pointing left.
Could anyone give me few tips to help with alignment while out on the course?
I find that I tend to point my feet/shoulders etc straight at the target and i think its causing me to push a lot of my shots right.
I made par on a par5 for the 1st time last weekend. I took it easy with a 3 wood off the tee, 3 wood of the deck, pitched on with the wedge, took my two putts and said thank you very much. Easy game. :D
Shame I took 7 on the par 3 that followed it. Oh Balls!
I have
Driver
3 wood
4hybrid
5-pw
56 wedge
Putter
As I've only been playing 10 months you can see that I have plenty of gaps in there at both the top end and bottom end, but it works out ok 90% of the time.
I think next I'll sort out my wedges, certainly need a gap wedge, possibly get a...
I would get a putter, sand wedge and 3 wood plus the irons. You could always get a half set of irons as to be honest you probably only use half of them anyway.
And as the previous post said lots of cheap balls, your going to need them. :)
That's totally ridiculous, how they can they even justify it? Some of these places are so short sighted, they try and gain a few extra pounds at the cost of long term business.
I had 2 weeks away from golf while on holiday, went back to the range yesterday and was hitting everything (expected driver) really well. Nice reaxled swing, the sun was out, happy days!
I got a golden bear starter set for around £200 and it's done me well. The thing with starter sets is that the woods don't tend to be very good, I changed my driver and 3 wood after 12months to Benross.
I'd play it as a driver then 3 wood as theres no real danger and its worth attacking. After that I'd see what Im left with and go from there.
All my shot choices are based on yards & danger never what the par is.
