Course is for sure busy over Summer but on weekdays members have the tee until 11am, between 12.30 and 13.30 and after 3.30 and all day Saturday and Sunday until 12.30. So if you can be a little flexible in your timing it works ok.

In fact once you’ve played the hole a few times you see the best line in is from the left so most of us aim over there anyway. Takes the “valley of sin” out of play.
NBWL has insurance in place to cover damage to cars and housing if you are wayward on the 18th. Simply report to the CH or proshop or starter. Same if you car is on the receiving end of an ill-struck ball.
Not in my opinion, 2 is just as good as 1 for me (and maybe even better). 3 is less good than either 1 or 2, it's a good bit shorter but fun nonetheless less. 3 often has the best greens of all the courses. 2 & 3 make for a great 36 hole day in the summer time.
