I see Rory has split with long term coach Michael Bannon and is now working with Pete Cowan. Personally I think this is probably a good move but suppose only time will tell.

Phoned them today and booked a tee time for when I'm there, there is an open competition on that week so I am able to play in that, thanks for the replies and roll on July.

I play Cleveland Irons and they have both stamped on them, I quite like it, bit of a talking point if nothing else. I'm nearly sure Lee Westwood rights his distances on his irons, that may be a better idea than numbers/lofts. A 7 iron now isn't what a 7 iron used to be anyway

Lilyhawk paid £69 for his wedges, the SM8 raw wedges are £189, now I am certainly not the greatest at maths in the world, but I think, please correct me if I'm wrong, which you really seem to enjoy doing, that's closer to a third of the price than it is to £20 cheaper.

Cleveland are a top top brand, their wedges and putters are amazing, as good as any Scotty or vokey for a third of the price. They have really upped their game with their irons and woods also, quality stuff

They look incredible, a great way to freshen up irons without spending mega bucks on a new set

I see Rory has switched back to an anser style putter, looking at it it seems to be a Taylormade TP soto. His opening 66 would obviously suggest that it is working. I never thought he looked comfortable with the spider putters and hopefully this small change can get him back up there again.

I find it amazing people still use a company like Hermes with all the bad press. I have always used parcel force for sending clubs and the biggest problem I ever was that I paid for express48 and it took 5 days.

Just heard this, the last time I heard about tiger and a car crash it was when his wife found out about his extra marital shenanigans. Really hope he's ok though, I know he's recovering from another back surgery and this doesn't end his playing days

Our shortest is 111 off the back sticks, still a really hard little par 3 though as the green is very very hard to hold.
