Was at 2018 on the Friday, I think Grandstand seats were unallocated (but all taken by time we got there), but there was loads of space surrounding the tee, so just a case of getting to a good spot and standing. Think we got there about 7ish for the 8ish tees and even that was pretty late (we...
Trying to work out the best option from coming from Edinburgh, now that trains seem out. Don't mind driving but trying to find best option for a P&R as the website doesn't have anymore options. If there's multiple from the South, do you think the Cupar or A915 (not sure where exactly) or...
Nightmare! fingers crossed you'll get it again.
Any tips or advice for it, both Masters itself and the area itself? Be good to know what to do/not do and any hidden gems!
Cheers, yeah looking forward to it and all the planning. I did see Rick Shields podcast about it (trying to find that party house!) and James Robinson's video which looks great.
Well after lots of stress and constant reviews of the US and UK Gov travel advice worrying about going (plus trying to convince 3 others to come!) the Masters made the decision for me: With the limited capacity they are doing, they've messaged to say that my tickets are getting shifted to next...
Fingers crossed Covid doesn't stop it!. Managed to get Monday practice tickets. Astounded as didn't think there'd be any ballot this year on account of the hold-over from 2020.
Whilst only Monday and Practice, I don't think I can pass up the bucket list opportunity to go, so need to start...
Hired 4 times in Florida. 3 times same pickup/drop off, the 4th was different pickup/drop so slightly more (minimal though).
Checked through my receipts and it worked out between around £19 and £27/day for each trip. Each of those was all-in though; it included colission damage waver, all...
Thanks, drove past it a few times in Corstorphine so will try and pop in some time. Might go to the Scottish Golf show as well and see what's there if I haven't bought anything sooner
Edit: Sorry confused it with AmericanGolf!, will take a look
Hoping you knowledgable people can help!
Been quite a casual golfer till now, maybe 4/5 rounds a year and pretty poor (never break 100) so have only ever had ad-hoc clubs, usually from Sports direct or hand-me-downs, so the bag is a mess.
Quite keen to get myself a decent set and start playing...
so, ended up going in the end and now I'm so glad I did. Managed to get to the first tee about 20-30 mins before it all kicked off (though had to stand; wasn't there that early!) so got to see the first groups tee off, generally played a game of go to one hole and see all groups pass through...
Thanks all, have decided to go for it; as some have said, it likely won't be close to the UK for 10+ years, so may as well!
Managed to get return flights for £105, coming back on the Friday night; saves an extra hotel and aimless wandering! just need to find accommodation for the Thursday...
