your right it makes no sense at all! i wouldnt mind but the fairways have been less than perfect even with this measure in place. for me i dont mind playing from the semi but teeing up in the rough is too far.
yeah ive seen those sites but all are one off days as far as im aware...dont think there are any order of merits in this area but will check out the county site.

sounds pretty simple but this makes sense to me!! going to try it on saturday!!
couldnt agree more....i got down to 8 from 12 by playing half a dozen great rounds thinking of nothing more than hittin it were im aiming and getting up and down where ever possible. soon as i got to single figures i started having lessons thinking i had to become a better ball striker to...
Hi, they do yes but nothing that evolves into an order of merit. i've run these comps in a society in the past and i know the format does keep interest going, especially on a bad day when every point/stroke can count overall. I also know winter league formats work but rarely have i heard of...
never class myself as a ping lover but just bought an I-series Piper H which is weighted beautifully...cant seem to get naything but a great roll with it, even on greens as they are at this time of year

i play golf in the...

i guess what i'm...
Thanks for the feedback guys. In my experience, golfers often use the excuse of not having time to examine the rule book etc when challenged on any issue related to dropping the ball or playing a provisional ball. Woulod you say some sort of quick guide easily accesible on course would be a...
we have mainly medals plus a handful of stableford plus one Bogey competition. The arrangement of our medals are bizarre though. We play March/April/May medals all in April and Sept/Oct/Nov medals all in September!
Personally i would like to see more of a mix but i agree Medal is the best...
