I'm looking for suggestions for a suitable drinking vessel should someone be "fortunate" enough to have a hole in one. The vessel will be kept in view in the clubhouse so nothing rude.
After playing a course, months later the more holes you remember for positive reasons the better the course. Fraserburgh Corbie Hill is fantastic, each hole has something special though the 1st and 18th do lack features. My favourite hole in the whole world is the par3 7th to get there comes the...
I do worry as there will be a sudden glut of old balls with a need to replace them on a certain date. Been told 1.2 billion balls per year not gradually phased out like plastic tees just suddenly out of spec.

It's for each individual to decide if their membership fee is value for money. This should be decided before payment is made as afterwards will create the horrible feeling of having been ripped off and a terrible taste in the mouth. What pisses me off is having taken membership the price then...
Does it matter?
An amateur and a professional discussing what is meant by feel of a golf ball after much discussion and ball striking it turns out to be "the sound made when the ball connects the clubface".
If it made any difference what so ever why would the "top brands" resort to paying...
I'd say the the most common issue at every course in the country is "pace of play" not slow play not fast play. Unless the clubs are managed and letters sent to offending members then this frustration will continue.
There is nothing wrong in having something printed on the every score card...
