Set of TaylorMade M6 irons, 5i to SW from Clubhouse Golf. Gambling a bit buying off the shelf with no fitting but got them at a good price so hopefully it pays off.

I’m in the same boat as the author. Got my eye on a set of G400’s, usually I’d wait but they’re in the sale so leave it too long and the price will inevitably rise. I do see the merit of having a fitting, not quite the same but I had a driver fitting earlier this year and it’s definitely helped...

Alternatively AG has the Taylormade M2’s at £399, with 20% off that but currently out of stock. Phoned my local store today who said they will be back in stock soon so they’re another option, especially at a price of around £320.
