On a run streak since Saturday, just trying to balance what I've overeaten. Will take the big day off and then out again on boxing day. Need a sign around my neck telling everyone I've run all year and not just because I've had a fat Xmas 😀

I was going to mention the mental aspect of it but I listen to Wolves podcasts so I feel worse when I get back home. 🤣

28 miles for me this week, about average really. Ticked me over 1300 for the year so I'm delighted, most yearly distance ever for me.

This one post has convinced me to drink a pint of water before any run I go on.

I just aimed for 100 a month, 25 per week is doable as I'm out 4/5 times. And most months I went over so it added up nicely. Bare in mind I literally don't do anything else.

I don't have anything with me for anything less than a HM, even then, I don't take a drink with me and will only stop if I see a shop and they take contactless. I use the water and lucozade stations at organised events, but only because it's part of the entry fee and I'd feel like I'm getting...

1290 miles for the year, did 5miles this morning in the wind and rain. Forgot my gloves at home, and remembered some random instagram influencer saying to dress for mile 2, not mile 1. Made sense really, because I couldn't feel my fingers anyway after 10 minutes.

Round to mom and dad's for the 42nd year in a row. Taking my father in law along too, as the mother in law passed last year, and don't want him on his own. Between him and my old man, I'll have to do a few off licence runs beforehand.
