Just wondering what people thought of this club if you have played there. They are holding a mixed open in September and I'm thinking of getting a few of us together to go, only £90 per pair including a 2 course lunch. Any reports or comments about the place.

I have only ever played the new layout and seems okay to me. I believe before, there were 3 holes across the road, but they got closed and the land sold on for potential houses.

we often play at Milford Golf Club, as it is owned by Crown so we can play there for free. played last sunday and in very good condition, some interesting holes and it looked like the clubhouse was busy. Not sure what the membership charges are, but would be worth a look.

It’s actually in pretty good nick, thanks to some new green keeping staff who took over about 9 months ago. The only thing lacking is the catering, as they have a microwave technician, who turns up occasionally! What time you teeing off as I’m there late afternoon. Enjoy your round

Appreciate comments regarding the wet conditions, but having played two local courses within the last week and then playing back at Batchworth, really highlights how bad the owners have let it go. They were down to about 5-6 greenstff a while ago, and now another two have left this week.

Are there any other members on this forum, from other Crown Golf courses (i'm Batchworth). If so, I would be interested to hear if they are currently maintaining the courses up to a reasonable standard.

Walked past it about 2 months ago, and it had a look about it, that it had been deserted and looked all overgrown, where as previously you could make out the greens and fairways. Personally think it maybe slightly doomed once they lost permission to build an 18 hole, and can only now build a 9...

We could walk to Moor Park from our clubhouse ! We are just looking for a day deal in March - we do our overnight weekend one in September
