Played both last Sept :)
North Shore definitely quirky but I enjoyed it.
Seacroft is great, which I'm playing again this Sept. Can be a challenge when the wind is up. On the Par 3 10th, I had a driver off the tee, smashed it and was still short of the green
Had the V2, upgraded to V3.
V3 is a better watch and a touch of colour is nice.
I've sold it on as I was spending ages having to go through the editing to get the watch to match my actual score.
Another reality is for my standard there's probably too much data and I don't fully understand what...
Hi all,
I subscribe to the 3 main magazines. My Golf Monthly magazine arrived Saturday, 5 days before its official publication date. Very happy, thank you
The other 2 (Todays Golfer and Golf World) I pay a joint sub for at a good rate. They arrived today. The issue of Golf World I received was...
Recently played a comp. On the first tee, I realized I'd left my box of tee's in my locker so I asked my pp if he'd lend me a tee. With a really annoying smirk, he refused
I looked in the bin and found a broken one which was long enough to hit my 3 wood. Absolutely creamed the tee shot...
My 19 yr old lad has asked that for Xmas I sort him out with clubs, bags, etc as he fancies taking up golf !!!
I've tried to talk him out of all the pain and frustration he's letting himself in for but as per normal he won't listen to me ! :D:D:D
Is there actually a decent quality package set...
Re: Coventry Golf Club
Can you add me to this as well, please?
I'm a computer neanderthal so "cut & paste your name" is not in my repertoire. :D
Got rid of my electric after battery fail then switch gear fail
Have an iCart Uno 3 wheeler from ag now. Very easy to use, even on the more challenging terrain. Can't see any reason why I would go back.
Worked ok for me.
Bought some Benross irons and woods off of eBay last year (to take the game up) Paid £130 and was offered £120 for them yesterday. The guy knew what I'd paid for them but that's what his computer said :D
Anyway, new Ping G30 irons and woods on order, Happy days :D...
Hi all,
Just taking up the game seriously and have joined my local club, Robin Hood in Solihull. There is an organised "Fiddle" on a Wed and Friday where I can just turn up and get put into a group to play.
I've played 3 times on the course (alone) and scored 106, 110 + 104.
My questions are...
I have two half sleeves of traditional Japanese designs (Koi, dragons etc.)
But they were to cover over a couple of definitely none PC ones I had done when I was 16-18.
I'm 52 now and sometimes wish I hadn't started.
Boxing,
Cricket - although I go to the test matches at Edgbaston (I think the ale helps there!!!)
Ice skating,
Motorsport,
Tennis
Actually, when I think about it , this could be a very long list!
