I will be in England on Monday and ready to add to my new courses played, over 200 in the UK, Ireland, France and Spain, hopefully I bring some decent weather with me.

Friend here in OZ wants to go and play in the UK, told him he could not afford it, cost over the years has gone mad, I was lucky enough to have lived and played there for 10 years and found the best way was to play in Opens. Now I rely on friends for freebies or guest rate.

That's because OWGR is all about the US.....just like they think all golf is about the US.

In OZ when they asked an OZ Golf Official to explain how they got 113.......his answer was duh..... just something the Yanks came up with, says it all really.

Played there on my last trip to England, a top choice.

People who play in the PM round, about 70-80% at my main club where I am a member.

I always liked presentations when no one new who won......now I look at people on their phones and they know the result before it is announced.

Here in OZ people were always looking at the scores in and deciding if that could beat it.....if not then the anchor went out, funny enough the single figure golfers could not care less.

Yes it will be, I was going to go but am flying over to England, am not sure that is a wise decision at looking at the weather and all the course closures.

Just got home after playing in 31C, we are calling out for rain here, think after my England trip I will calling out for sunshine again.
