I have found over the years that very little nullifies a knobby-know-it-all.

You would think it would nullify them but it also gives them the ammo they need to inform people it’s the wrong choice

As I always say - a golf club seems to have 400 plus greenkeepers , a couple hundred GM’s and also bar staff etc etc

Or in some cases because they believe they know better.
