I can't agree with your reasoning, my approach was how much have hole in ones cost me so far and divided that by years playing. You have taken one isolated cost and divided it into a period which is not applicable to that cost.

I have been playing golf for about 45 years, I have had 4 aces, each one probably cost me around £100, therefore less than £10 a year, a price I am very happy to have paid and with any luck I will gladly pay again.

I have been lucky & had 4, with an 8 iron, 6 iron, 4 iron & 5 wood, 3 on my home course and 1 on an away game. Each time I have either rung the captains bell or offered everyone in the bar a drink, you don't get one often so why be tight plus its a good tradition to keep alive.

Royal County Down, because it has just about everything, employ a caddy and have the best time you will ever have on a golf course, it will most likely beat you up but you will finish feeling better than when you started

i have done that frequently, and now feel like I am taking liberties, I have around 20 individual clubs to sell so have bought a batch of new boxes.
