Your taxes are spent on this

I have no idea what we're doing in Europe. I'm sure there's a very good reason but, to me, it seems like a complete waste of time.

We've just had one of the most severe spending cuts in history and yet Brussels want us to increase our payment to them. I just don't get it! :(

and money

I do, we have to bail out the poorer countries who up to their necks in the brown stuff. ie Greece and I've since heard Portugal is on its' uppers now.
Not forgetting our new European cousins from the East who have now got into the market. Not a lot to offer, but they take a hell of a lot out. Sponging freeloading parasites!

Ahem, yes I do feel a little resentment.

total sum of cuts to reduce UK deficit for 2011 approx 7billion
Uk share to ireland approx 7billion

sweet, good to know that all the publics sector workers in the uk have been laid off and pensions slashed to bail out another country and negate any effect on deficit reduction...

you can stuff europe frankly...

We've all heard by now about the MPs expense scandal and how Westminster has now got it's house in order, but compared to the MEPs they are a drop in the Brussels gravy train.
300 Euros for doing nothing?
