My favourite scallop dish is Peter Gorden's with a sweet chilli sauce with creme fraiche on a bed of watercress...

My version of it comes from a Nigel Slater book, but there's a few references to it online. You'll never enjoy a jar of sweet chilli again once you've made this.

Tomato soup chicken casserole

Cut up left over chicken
Diced fried onion
Par boiled sliced potatoes
Two cans Tomato soup
Seasoning
Slow cooker three hours.

50 year old family favourite that everyone loves and oh so simple.

That Doon is your best post this year. Getting fat reading it.

Went to Edinburgh one year for the New year. The new year was crap, but walking back to our B & B on the night of the 30th we passed an Italian. Anyway I had Chicken Breast with Haggis, served with a whisky cream.
In essence. Chicken breast sliced with Haggis rammed in it. Place chicken breast in foil which is sprayed in one cal. Salt and pepper. Oven for 45 mins about 190
Gently fry onions and Mushroom, get rid of all oil in pan. Pour in single cream and simmer on a low light, add whisky to your hearts content. Serve with veg of your choice.
