Your favourite TV programme

Mine at the moment by far, is The Repair Shop. BBC2 at 7pm.

For those that don't know, it's where people take in artefacts, clocks, ceramics, anything in a dilapidated state and in need of repair.
In the workshop there are all sorts of absolute experts in their field. Furniture restorer, art expert restorer, ceramics,upholsterer,clock restorer, metal worker,soft toy experts, silversmith.In fact anything that needs repairing and TLC, there is an expert. And boy are they good at what they do, painstaking and detail to bring the items back to life. At times its quite emotional when the people return to see their treasures restored to almost new again.

Its feel good TV at its finest!

My wife's grandfather was a Major in the Home Guard.

He used to laugh along with us and then tell us the stories about him training the Death Squads.

This along with Blackadder are the two comedies I can watch again and again. Just brilliantly played, brilliantly written
