Do people really take this kind of TV so seriously that they come on these threads just to slag it off ? The makers of the programme seem to achieved one of their main aims - i.e Getting people talking about it , regardless of whether they actually watch the show.
Its not some kind of humanitarian study , its an hours entertainment every evening for a TV audience that wants to watch something that doesn't need any brain power . If you take it for what it is - bland , mind-numbing , chavvy entertainment , then i think it hits the nail right on its bonce .
Personally , i only watch if my sister gives me the nod that something gruesome's gonna happen
