Quite long and the rough can get high and usually it's high from the first cut etc.
Long ish walk between holes which I quite like, however if your not that fit I advise a buggy as when you get to the tough back 9 you will be feeling it.
Gets busy with loads of corporate.
The 17th is a great par 3, 200+ over a lake with a tight pin, card wrecker.
Pretty much agree with the comments, but I found the long walk between holes a bit of a pain. Loved the long carries over the Nature Reserves and "no-go" areas. 17th is a cracker.
Agree with the comments we got it early october - weather was great and it was only £20 and a bacon roll.
Can't remember which hole it was but there is another cracking par 3 from an elevated tee where the green is about 100 ft below.
Great course - hope to go back in the summer.
yeah it's by Crewe. I've played the course facing it called gordty hill and won our society day there. I'm just hoping to have the same luck at wychwood park haha
Sorry to rain on the parade a bit, but played in my usual 4 ball the other week and one of the chaps played it a few weeks ago. He had a de vere voucher or something and when he called to book, the chap on the end of the phone wasn't too welcoming, expaining that the course was extremely busy but he guessed he could squeeze them in. After a 3 hour front nine my friend was getting very frustrated! That plus the 'wooly' , sandy and inconsistent Greens meant they walked off after 12 holes and didn't get to see this wonderful 17th! saying this, it could just be a one off !
